We spotted a popular scam of camgirls on the internet. They promise visitors a custom video recording a live sex show.
Usually, they sell it this video at an outrageously high price. So, even if you halve the price suggested by the camgirl, you still have to pay a large sum of money.
Here is how it works: you pay a large sum of money upfront and then, she never delivers the video.
We have already been scammed. We paid a certain amount of money and the camgirl never delivered. If you pay through an adult chat website, don’t expect too much from the support team to solve the problem. If you directly pay the camgirl you take a major risk.
Safe solution:
Stripchat allows camgirls to sell videos on their profile. There is nothing that can prevent selling the video if the video only involves the camgirl as the only character in the video. Conversely, if the video involves several people, she must provide ID proof for every adult actor in the video.

The scammer may try to convince you but telling you that a lot of people already bought her video and are asking for more. Shey may tell you that she has lots of videos like the one you want. The goal of these marketing hooks is to convince you to send your money.
In my eyes, they are proofs that the camgirl is a fraud. Rather than showing proof that she really shot the custom video that you are looking for, she sends you marketing text. It is just a smoking wall to influence you. An honest person would give proof that she has a video to sell.
What to do to prevent being scammed:
Keep in mind:
- You aren’t in a hurry. You don’t have to stress as long as you didn’t pay
- She needs your money more than you need her video.
So, take your time to negotiate with her and be ready to give up at any point, if you see that she does not fulfill one of the following requirements:
1/ Ask for a screen capture or several screen captures to prove the video exists. The screen capture should contain something that could help you to identify the camgirl like a tattoo or physical traits. If she does want to send the screen captures for free, it means she is a scammer.
2/ Take the time to analyze the screen captures. Zoom in. Check if it was already uploaded online using tineye, google images, yandex, bing. These screen captures will also help you to assess the quality of the recording and if it matches with your requirements.
3/Ask the camgirl to halve the price, so that you don’t need to pay the whole sum upfront.
